Forest Society Education Center at Creek Farm,
Not all of us grew up wandering about in the forest, camping off-grid with family and friends, and checking off lists of summits, but everyone deserves to enjoy the outdoors and feel confident doing so!
In this Southeast and Seacoast series, there will be no assumptions and no judgement! Learn the very basics like trail etiquite, using a map, and what goes in the pack, and explore different outdoor hobbies like bird appreciating (birding for beginners), and foraging (what is and is not a snack) in protected forests along Sagamore Creek and the Oyster River!
To top it all off – we’ll summit Mt. Major as a team! Mt. Major is the first summit for many New Englanders, and we’re glad to have you join us!
Registration is done on the Forest Society website. There is a small fee for all 3 adventures: $40 for adults, $30 for youth, and $15 for Forest Society Members.
