All proceeds go to the Marine Mammal Rescue Program! -  On display at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery is a collection of artworks by 12 artists who call themselves Earth Tones, a group dedicated to using art as a tool for environmental advocacy. Led by New Hampshire Art Association (NHAA) Member Pete Weissbrod, the group’s inaugural exhibition titled “Reclaimed, Renewed, Redeemed” will be on view in September, one year from the group’s first meeting. Using marine debris collected from Blue Ocean Society beach cleanups in New Hampshire and Southern Maine, the artists used ropes, plastic of all colors, and wave-battered lobster traps abandoned and beyond repair (the artists took a crash course in marine law before using this art material). | 1 event, - Join Seacoast Science Center naturalists and our Marine Mammal Rescue team for fun and informative wildlife paddles that explore our local estuarine waters. Take a deep dive into New Hampshire’s two estuaries with speakers from UNH, The Nature Conservancy, and the Seabrook-Hamptons Estuary Alliance. | 0 events, | 0 events, | 0 events, | 0 events, | 2 events, -  Come be a part of the science!!! BioBlitz is Seacoast Science Center's annual dawn-to-dusk biological survey of Odiorne Point State Park. Families and nature enthusiasts team up with SSC naturalists and guest experts to explore the Park’s habitats to find and identify as many different species as possible in just one day! BioBlitz is a great way to get kids (and adults!) excited about science, learn about biodiversity, and discover how you can help protect our natural world. -  Seacoast Science Center will host its 24th annual BioBlitz on Sunday, September 20, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye. The day-long community science event brings scientists, naturalists, students, families and nature enthusiasts together to explore the park and document as many species as possible. |

National Estuaries Week, a time to celebrate the importance of estuaries and all they give to us, is just around the corner, and we have a fun week planned. Each weekday, September 21st through the 25th, we will have a different event to help us enjoy and honor Great Bay. The podcast by NH Sea Grant that explores the science, stories, and people behind our changing coastlines moves from the studio to the stage at Seacoast Science Center. | 1 event, | 1 event, | 1 event, | 3 events, -  Don't Trash Dover (DTD) is a volunteer community group dedicated to keeping Dover clean through organized monthly litter walks. -  The “Fall Paddle” returns for a eighth year! The Exeter River is a town treasure running through the middle of Brentwood. A pristine river with an abundance of wildlife, much of the land along the river has been conserved, resulting in very little development along its shores and a very natural experience. Whether you are a frequent paddler on the river, or have never been out on it, we hope you will consider joining in. | 2 events, To protect the places we love, Seacoast Paddleboard Club (SPC) adopted Pirates Cove Beach in Rye, New Hampshire through Blue Ocean Society’s Adopt-a-beach program in the Spring of 2017. Through this partnership, SPC ambassadors host year-round community beach cleanups on the last Sunday of every month. These cleanups are open to the public, and students can earn volunteer credits for service hours. |
