A collaboration of more than 20 organizations, working to protect the waterways that flow through New Hampshire and Maine's Great Bay watershed.
We are your neighbors and friends. We live, work, and play near one of the seven tidal rivers that flow into Great Bay.
Precious resources for 48 communities, these rivers include the Exeter-Squamscott, Winnicut, Lamprey, Oyster, Bellamy, Salmon Falls, and Cocheco rivers. (The Cocheco and Salmon Falls come together to form the mighty Piscataqua!)
Our goal is to help you enjoy and protect these waters that benefit us all. We built this online platform to connect you with others who share your love for clean water. When we act together, small actions add up to a big impact.
Our Team
7 Rivers to the Coast is powered by nonprofits, businesses, community groups, local governments, state agencies, and academic institutions. Each organization is dedicated to protecting our shared waters in different ways, including outreach, education, research, monitoring, environmental advocacy, management, land conservation, and sustainable recreation.
